      Interview

I applied to an online job posting and didn't really hear anything for a few months. Then a recruiter called and we chatted a few times, and she requested links to work I've done, after which two managers called, then their manager called, and then I was offered the job. All interviews were over the phone.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Bellevue, WA) in Aug 2010

      Interview

First I was contacted by the recruiter for this unit. I had submitted a cover letter with my resume into Taleo which I think made a big difference in getting selected. She gave me the screening interview over the phone, going over how my experience matched up with the job. She was very eager to get me scheduled and forwarded information on T-Mobile's benefit package. About a week later I had a phone interview with the Group Manager. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to. She seemed very excited how my technical background and sales training experience fit with the group. About two weeks later I had a panel interview with the Group manager and her three leads. Good discussion. Honestly, I thought I had it. Unfortunately someone came in stronger than I did and I didn't get the job. I was very impressed with how personable the people at T-Mobile were.
