      Customer Service Associate Expert Interview

      May 11, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Colorado Springs, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at T-Mobile (Colorado Springs, CO) in May 2017

      Interview

Applied to T-Mobile Call Center in Colorado Springs online at the end of March. I was than sent an email late April to take the online assessment, which includes the personality test as well as the mock call center questions. They want to see if you're capable of multitasking. After I completed my assessment I was emailed a few days later to schedule a video interview. I used my iPad to download an app that records you answering a few questions situational based questions etc. really it's like you're skypeing with yourself. After I completed my video interview I was than sent another email a day later to schedule my in-person interview followed by a link to fill out the background check form. I had my interview the following week. There I was asked situational based questions again followed by a practice phone call. They give you a sheet to read off of and give you about 15 minutes to prepare. The recruiter will than call you and ask you some normal Customer service questions. Just as if you were to call in and talk with a rep for whatever problem you might have. After all that I was than given a tour around the facility and sent in my way. A week and a half later I was given a verbal offer and was asked to come in and take a picture for my company badge.

      Interview

I applied online over a month ago, it took quite a while before anyone got back to me. I did a phone interview, was sent an invite to do a live video, and then maybe a few weeks later had a recruiter call to schedule an in-person interview. The on-site interview was with 3 different managers and was over an hour where I had to do a mock call, I was told they would get in touch with my recruiter, but I never heard back, and no one replies to my emails, I was ghosted.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Jan 2022

      Interview

First got invited to do a HireVue 'interview'. You pre-record videos to answers, given a bit to prepare. Then there's multiple choice, and a few write-in. After that, I got scheduled for a live virtual interview with a hiring manager. I was super, super nervous and that showed. They asked basic STAR format questions, but I feel most interviews are like that, then a mock role-play call of a customer. I was even more nervous, it showed, I floundered a teensy bit, but just remained extremely upbeat and personable.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Why do you want to work at T-Mobile? Have you done any research on the company and what did you learn? Describe a difficult time where you had to work with a team member. Describe a time you collaborated with a team member that went great. Are you comfortable with web-based applications? Describe a time in work where you had to multi-task? Describe a time in work where you had to deal with a difficult customer.

      Interview

Engaging and lots of tools provided to help you succeed. Have to go to a seminar and have an interview with hiring managers where they ask STAR questions and do a roleplay. Overall good experience.
