Quick phone screening and then virtual meeting with the whole team (hiring manager and IA and an associate) in the first round, didn’t pass the round, timeline was within a week

Interview
Initial virtual call with centralized HR staff, followed by virtual call with a few members of the existing team. Only had one round of interviews with the team. After the interview, there was a very lengthy background check done by a third party, which was difficult to deal with.

The two portfolio managers Interviewed me first, then my manager interviewed me a couple of days later. The portfolio managers had my résumé on the table and they asked me to expand on my hobbies and they also asked for more detail about one of my previous jobs that was most like the job I was interviewing for. They asked me what made me apply for this job And why don’t you do I want it. I made sure not to say anything negative about the previous job And only focus on what’s exciting about the new job. He seemed to really like it when I said that I like to be helpful.
