Had the initial prescreening interview which took about 45 minutes. Was invited to participate in a hiring exercise which they said should take 3-4 hours but took 10 hours to be exact. The work required real district data and potential leads for consulting work. After that, a rejection letter showed up. No information why other than, we are moving other candidates forward. Was probably one of the worst interviewing experiences so far especially since if you don’t know someone in the company you’re probably not getting in. Also it seems the interviews are staged and internal candidates are already lined up. Seems to be a legal formality more than an ethical hiring process. Would not recommend.
