Ghosted after a seemingly positive second round. The salary range offered was 70k-140k and my requirement was closer to the higher end. I saw the job posting had modified their salary range to 70k-90k which is probably why they ghosted me. This after the CEO complained about companies "paying their employees too much". Other companies don't pay their employees too much, you are offering far too little. Stats show the median wage to be considered middle class in CA is 90k. You have the gall to offer someone 70k which is unlivable in CA, and then also tell me that you expect employees to work beyond 40 hours a week? It seems that they are exploiting people's post layoff desperation with their meager pay. Terrible attitude from CEO.
