      Executive Team Leader Interview

      Sep 22, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Tucson, AZ
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Tucson, AZ) in Sep 2011

      Interview

I found out about the job on my school's internal job website. A recruiter responded back to me and asked me why I wanted to work for Target, where I wanted to be in 3-5 years, then set up a phone interview for the following week. The interviews consist of the recruiter asking questions to get to know you, then they ask 5 behavioral questions. The questions about getting to know you are about your job and educational backgrounds. Once the initial get to know you questions are out of the way, each recruiter asked 5 behavioral questions. The first interview lasted 30 minutes, then the store team leader asked me if I was available in 10 minutes to do another interview with a different store team leader. This interview went exactly like the first. I was told the next step was for an interview with a district team leader and that I would hear back within 2-5 business days. On the 5th business day I emailed my recruiter telling her I had not heard back, then I received a typical email stating the company was not interested.

It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
