I interviewed at Target 3 days ago for the sales floor team member position..& I promise if I had not prepared my answers to these questions (which I will post below).. I wouldn't have been offered the position.
I had (2) 1:1 interviews in the same day by different associates then I was sent to speak with the HR manager of the department and was asked again "Why do I want to work for Target?"
Some other questions they asked were...How will you benefit the company? Tell me about a time you k
helped
someone complete a task? Tell me about a time you made a mistake and how you fixed
it.
Tell me about a time you worked in a team or was team leader.
For each question, they specfically want to know the problem..they steps you took to do or fix the problem and the outcome.
I was offered a conditional job offer at the end of the day based on my drug test results(which I knew I didn't have to worry about).

The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!
