The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Target (Sacramento, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
I initially applied for the position through a job search website. I received a phone call about three weeks later. The interview process was very indepth, and required a lot of back and forth emails with recruiters. I met with two store team leaders, both who really said they liked me, so I though that I was going to do well in the third interview. The third interview I met with the district team leader. She was very serious, and was quite the opposite in terms of personality that the other store team leaders had expressed target was about. Both store leaders said they wanted candidates who were upbeat and cheerful, but it was hard to give off those personality traits when the district leader had a stone cold face.
The interview was pretty much the same in all three interviews. It consisted of behavioral questions and required you to set the situation, what behavior you took, and the outcome that came of it.
