I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Apple Valley, MN) in Oct 2010
Interview
I applied online as a cashier in early September. 4 weeks later, I received an email from the HR dept at the Target store in which I would have my interview. On the day of the interview, I went through two one-on-one interviews with Executive Team Leaders. At the end of the second interview, I was offered a seasonal conditional cashier position for the holidays, and was then scheduled for a drug/criminal background screening. After successfully passing both background checks, I was scheduled to start work at Target 2 weeks later.

Question 1
Explain a time when you had to help a friend or a stranger in a work area where you had no previous experience and you had to meet a deadline. What was the situation, who were the people involved, what were the people's role, what was your role, how did you solve the situation, and what was the outcome?
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
