I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target (Orlando, FL) in Mar 2010
Interview
I was referred to the Hiring Manager for Target in my area. She communicated regularly for about a week about how to apply, where to apply and how to prepare for an interview with a company like Target. The phone interview consisted of past work experience/eduation questions. They asked would I be interested in relocating, working long hours/weekends/holidays. I was asked if I wanted to continue the interview over the phone or in person at a store so that I could get a tour also. I decided to take the in person interview which was much harder. I was asked the usual questions, however the questions leaned more toward "Are you a leader?" I listed my experience which was limited but also stated that I was ready and willing to learn. I got a detailed tour w/ the store manager who was cordial at all times. I thought I had the position and when I asked when could I expect to receive follow up I was told within a week. I never did. I even called back but the manager was "out of town".

Question 1
What do you think would make you a good fit for this role?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target (Charlotte, NC)
Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
