I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Farīdābād, Haryana) in Aug 2011
Interview
The schedule starts from aptitude test(difficulty level- 7/10)..questions were from maths only
All the questions were from the previous years' question bank..nothing different(dat helped me a lot)
Then next day waz for the interview- technical and personal.
In technical interview..they asked me a lot f questions
Starting from my biodata the interviewer asked all my subjects of degree which i had come across so far..i answered it wid around 12 subjects..then he asked 2-3 basic questions from each of them
After that he asked me to write a program on C language..i did it!!
He looked quite impressed but after all those tech. questions he wanted to test my genral awareness..he asked me wuestions about...latest infatuation rate, anna hazare, recent natural disasters etc.
But i waz nt dat gud at dat part. .at the end he said "though you dont know much about things going around you still i like you...lets see what happens?"
Then it came for the personal interview. .that was quite gud.
The interviewer was quite frank..he just asked my hobbies, the reason to join TCS,working preferences etc

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Vijayawāda) in Apr 2026
Interview
Easy process focusing on Projects in detail , Coding , Sql queries , OOPs and some managerial questions followed by HR interview. They mostly focus on your confidence and calmness rather than only knowledge. It's better to have good communication and quick thinking in the interview.
I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Mumbai)
Interview
The interview was of 3 rounds: 1 HR and 2 technical. It was not difficult and not easy for an entry-level role; it should focus on communication skills as a fresher.
