I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services in Jan 2008
Interview
It started with pre-placement talk with TCS people and we all were excited about our future.
Being the mechanical guy I was excited about TCS becuase of TATA flagship.
finally the day came for aptitude test and we all kept our finger crossed with wild guesses about the exam patterns ...
Computer based test was Ok and I was shortlisted for the technical interview which was too long about 45 minutes and after which I was not that much confident of getting through because of my too much straight-forward answers and apologies for incorrect answers.
But I got through, then came the main part personal interview with two beautiful ladies trying to trap me in their net of beautiful words... There were two many questions which almost left me blanked being in-front of lady HRs. After some time they tried to settle everything and made me to feel comfortable .
I was honest with my answers and I think honesty of my words took me through the personal interview round as well.
After that there were Background check by company and some guys visited my native place to verify my details.
