TCS came to my college for campus placements. Those who had a good rank in CodeVita or 75% aggregate in college were exempted from the aptitude test, and were sent directly to the interview.
The entire process was spread out over three days. First we had an aptitude test, which was of average difficulty.
The people who were shortlisted were sent for technical interviews. My panel consisted of two people. One of them was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. The other had a frown on his face and was quite rude. The panel interviewed me for over 40 minutes. I was asked a myriad of questions ranging from Object Oriented Programming, Database Management, Data Structures, and Operating Systems. The rude person also attempted to ask some uncomfortable personal questions which I answered tactfully.
The HR interview was basically a group discussion with other candidates. The interviewer asked some tricky questions to each student. I managed to answer them with tact. The interviewer did not prod me further sensing that I had insider information about the company.
