I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Surathakal) in Aug 2015
Interview
There was an online test conducted, it contained questions on Analog, Digital, Aptitude which was two hour long in totality. Around 10 were shortlisted for interviews for Analog and Digital profiles. Both had two tech rounds and an HR for selection. First round interview, questions were on RC circuits, opamps, networks, Mosfets.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Time response of Voltage across capacitor in an RC circuit being excited with different inputs (step, ramp, triangular, pulse). Viewing RC series as Low pass filter. Questions on Virtual grounding in opamp.
fundamental circuit intuition, problem-solving skills, and deep understanding of device physics rather than just rote memorization of equations. You will be expected to think out loud, draw waveforms, and analyze small-signal
Online Assessment followed by 2 rounds of technical interviews. Online Assessment consisted of 3 parts - Analog, Digital and Aptitude. Analog part mostly consisted of questions from RC circuits, Opamps, MOS Circuits, Oscillators.
I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bangalore Rural)
Interview
I am only having only one round of interview
Where they asked mostly about rc circuits. Op amp basics and mosfet questions.
The interview almost happened for 1 hour and it is a good experience
