I applied online. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Germantown, MD) in Dec 2018
Interview
A recruiter reached out and set up an interview with a hiring manager in TI.
After I was flown out to Maryland to interview with a team there.
Overall, I had an okay experience. Except with one interviewer. He asked me if my GPA had to do with me failing English. He assumed because of my appearance that English was not my native language. Even though I was born and lived my whole life in the US. He also spent some time bragging about his Tesla. When I tried to make small talk he pretty much insinuated that one of my family members didn't make enough money to purchase one. I just smiled and carried on with the interview.
So even if I would have been made an offer. I would have not accepted. Working with a racist isn't something I'd want especially one in a senior role.

It was ok. Asked specific questions about typescript and how to configure objects and differences between different data types. Overall a good experience. You should prepare the basics because you are questioned a lot on that.
Only one round
Easy DSA questions and some based on computer architecture and embedded processing. Prepare well for computer architecture, DSA of basic level is also fine as they don't pay much attention. Also join only if interested
