Initial contact was made my HR who arranged a phone interview. He asked standard questions regarding my background and previous work experiences, basically going through my resume and asking me to expand on each job.
Next, I was invited to an on-site panel interview with the 3 employees from the Complex Claims dept. One of them was the hiring manager. On-site, I first submitted forms I had filled out for them and then I took logical reasoning and grammar tests on a computer. They were relatively easy and straightforward. They weren't technical questions relating to subject matter but check how you'd behave in certain office situations.
The panel interview was also not that difficult and as it was an entry-level position, they didn't ask any technical questions. They were interested in my previous experience, my interaction with previous colleagues, how I managed a stressful or fast-paced environment, examples of negotiation experience, why I wanted this job, and why I wanted to work at this company.
The whole process was fine and well organized but the downside was that after the interview, I waited around 2 months to hear back from them. Also I would contact my HR contact and I wouldn't hear back from him as he gave no updates whatsoever as to where the hiring process was at. I only heard from him finally 2 months later.
