Typical interview process. They asked the typical interview situational questions. Depending on the individual manager, your gender may positively impact your likelihood to be hired. Overall the process was very easy.

Have you ever had a customer that was combative, how did you handle the situation?
Easy, straightforward. They're willing to train so previous experience is nice but not necessary. If you have any paint/art/design experience, it's a plus. Customer service and willingness to work is the most important aspect.

Fair, hiring manager was nice, didn’t ask very many questions, the interview took maybe around 30 minutes. I was offered the job right afterwards and accepted. Overall a good experience there
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Evans, GA) in Dec 2024
Interview
The process was easy and not so formal. Even with the interview, they gave me a sense of familiarity with the company. I have always been a shopper, but after interviewing, I wanted to become an associate.
