I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Ohio State University (Columbus, OH) in Feb 2015
Interview
It was fairly relaxed but informative. I learned more about that studies that the research team was involved in. I also discussed about what my role would be in the team, what types of things I would be learning, and what else I needed to do. I was informed that I needed to get a background check which took quite a long time since I'm not American.

They ask why are you interested and to express your passion. There was a nice a friendly environment and they were asking lots of question and what you want to do with your degreee
Pretty nice. The professors are kind and approachable. They asked about my previous experience and future plans to align with their recruitment goals. They also explained their criteria in detail, giving me a clear understanding of what they are looking for. This transparency made it easier to know how to tailor my application and align myself with the program’s expectations. Overall, it was a positive experience that helped me feel more confident about the process and how to succeed in their program.
