The Trade Desk Senior Programmer Analyst interview questions

One of The Trade Desk recruiter contacted me via linkedIn and I responded same day but he took 4-5 days to respond to my message. He setup call with his colleague a week later to discus about my background. I had call with him and discuss about my background and recruit process/timelines. Week later he setup video call interview with two engineers after going through my resume. Only one of engineer showed up 45 min video call. Engineer explained about role and her background. Then I explained about myself and what were technologies used in my career. Engineer was also asked about challenges and technical difficulties I faced as software developer. It was nice talk but not a technical interview. Couple of days passed but no response or feedback. 6 days later I follow-up with recruiter and got immediate response saying that I was not ideal fit for what they are currently looking but not much feedback on the discussion with engineer. I was little bit disappointed what they said for rejection. Technically they should be able tell whether my profile fits for their role or not by looking at my resume. No need spend 45 min to an hour video call.
