I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters
Interview
The interview consisted of two parts: a one hour group interview and one hour written evaluation. Typically this is done in stages but because I came from a distance, they allowed me to perform both parts of the interview while there. The interview was pretty standard, a lot of "tell me about a time when . . ." and a couple of multi-part questions.
During the written evaluation, candidates read a case and write summaries of the holdings on a computer.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Manila, Manila) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was smooth, professional and well coordinated. It started with an initial screening from the Talent Acquisition Team, where they asked about my background, experience and motivation for applying. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager, which focused more on my working experience, skills and how they relate to the role.
Questions were straightforward such as how I handled deadlines, deal with challenges, and manage communication in a hybrid setup. The atmosphere was friendly and conversational rather than intimidating.
After the interview, I received a prompt from HR, followed by instructions for pre-boarding discussions and background check.

First Round was just typical AI questions that you recorded on your own time. I had to follow up to get the link and it took multiple emails to secure it. There was a next round but I decided to opt out due to the low salary for the attorney editor position.
