Complete waste of time. Recruiter did not know anything about the role beyond the job description - nothing on the interview process, salary range or any details on the role. I met with the hiring manager for a casual chat to discover some important aspects of the role were not included in the JD. To top it off, they send me an email asking for my availability to continue in the process, only to tell me it was sent by mistake and reject me. In hindsight - this totally felt like they were fishing for competitive information on what my current employer is doing in the space of GenAI rather than having intent to hire.
