I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jun 2025
Interview
4 rounds with thoughtworks. First is HR round where the HR will explain a bit about other rounds. After that we have pair programming round where you will be given a codebase in your preferred language via GitHub (4-5 days before) and on the interview they would ask you to create/fix some APIs and services. 3rd round is technical interview, two panels will ask you about your current project and questions regarding your tech stack. 4th round is leadership round where you will be asked basic scenario based questions.
I didn't get an offer as the position went on hold.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Tell me about your project, design a basic model of how your current application works and communicate (frontend, backend, DB etc.).
Then they will ask questions based on your answers.
(Technical interview) . Design a basic model of the ecommerce website. How will you create java classes? What would be classes name? Based on what values are you separating the attributes of classes etc.
(Leadership Round) Suppose you are the CEO of the company and you have hired developers for your startup project and the company is doing well. You see the ratio between boys and girls in your company is 90% to 10%.
Would you take any separate measures to hire female employees or you will ignore that and use the existing hiring method you are using (Since it is working fine)?
Invited for an HR screening only to be immediately rejected for not having enough YOE. If this was a hard requirement why even schedule a call in the first place? A complete waste of time for both parties.
The interview consists of two rounds and takes about a month. It mainly asks about the understanding of the business and the ability to cooperate with others, and also includes some assessment of personal technical abilities
I was referred into Thoughtworks Bengaluru. After a basic HR screen, a PM grilled me on BA-style scenarios. After that, I prepped a two-day case study to roleplay a consultant.
