I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tim Hortons (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Tim Hortons job interview covers subject areas, such as schedule availability, work history, customer service skills, and education. Basic questions candidates often face include: "Why do you want to join the Tim Hortons Team?" and "What are your greatest strengths?" Applicants may also need to respond to behavioral questions based on hypothetical situations, such as: "Describe a time when you worked in a team to solve a problem.", "Give me an example of a time when you provided excellent customer service", and "Describe a time you were put in a difficult situation. How did you react?" In addition to evaluating, interviewers use the interview to explain the duties of the jobs and the pay, hours, and advancement opportunities offered.
It was a very easy process. In general, it was a lot of behavioral questions which made the interview feel very stress free. I personally felt that it was more like a conversation which made it very easy to sit through and answer.
Good. they asked good questions. for example. Why would you like to work here. what do you like about tim hortons. do you like our coffee. do you know what a double double is.
It was a pretty relaxed and straightforward interview. The interviewer mainly asked about my past work experience, customer service skills, and availability. They also explained the job responsibilities and what a typical shift would look like.
