First interview was with Matthew, in person, for culture fit. Second interview was by phone and was supposed to be more technical.
For the second interview, I was asked to prepare an app using their software, Mendix. So I have a mac and when I tried to download and run it, I learned it is only for PC. No one from TimeSeries told me that their software only runs on PC's. I spent hours trying to hack a Java Virtual Machine but that didn't work either. Also, their online mendix only has 1% of the desktop functionality and they didn't tell me that either. I emailed them about this and didn't receive a response before the interview. When I attended the interview, I brought this up with Ramli and he said it's not a problem.
The reason i was given for not moving forward in the process was because I didn't show technical proficiency with their software which just feels wrong due to the aforementioned their software only runs on pc thing.
In other words, don't apply here if you don't have or have access to a pc.
