Interview
I applied online for the Gaylord National Harbor MD location, by the end of the week I got an email asking me to come in for an interview the following week. I replied to the email to confirm my attendance. On the day of the interview, I filled out paperwork talking about my availability, work experience, and personal details. There was about 5 of us for the morning interview. The managers made note oh how I was early (30 mins) and dressed in business attire... so make sure you do that. After finishing the paperwork I was called into a room based on who came in first for a ONE on ONE interview (THIS WAS NOT A GROUP INTERVIEW). After the interview (which took less than 3 minutes) I was told that they were going to hire me and asked about my availability. and that I would also get a call with more details. I was a little worried at first because even though the manager said I was hired I didn't get any written confirmation or anything to prove that I was actually hired. But by the end of the day, I got an email from Town Park about my conditional offer which was based on successful completion of background/drug test.

Interview
Applied online, received a call a few days later and had an interview that same day. Easy, easy interview. Asked about my driving experience, explained to me not much gratuity involved in emergency room valet :(plus we don't live in a city where valet or gratuity is prevalent). Was given a day to think it over and that was the end of it being easy. There were troubles with receiving emails to initiate my background check and drug test. Once that was handled, now I'm told I have to do hospital screenings in order to work on the property, which includes yet another drug test and physical, which is taking longer and longer in order for me to actually start work. Especially considering hospital can't get theircshit together to even schedule my appointment. If it weren't for the hospital BS I would've been working by now. From interview to background check and drug test for townepark only took 7 days..not bad but hospital BS will take an additional 11 days to do my appointment and who knows how long after that can I start work or what other hoops I have to jump through. Towns park hiring process not bad but additional hospital BS is ridiculous. Cheyenne regional medical center west has proven to be disgustingly incompetant from a patient perspective over the past 40 years and now from a potential employees perspective- same disgusting incompetence.
