I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toyota North America (Detroit, MI) in Mar 2016
Interview
My school had a career fair, I spoke to the recruiters there and they offered me an interview the next day at my school. I interviewed with an HR and an engineer.
Not part of the interview process, however my buddy also had an interview there as well, after me. Since I already have an internship, I told him what they were going to ask and what to expect and he received the position.

2) Using STAR, explain when you worked in a group, what you encountered, your task, the goal and the outcome.
3) 3 things that make you a good candidate.
4) why do you want to work at Toyota
5) What are your weakness
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Toyota North America in Apr 2022
Interview
They used the STAR format, so if you got that brochure do exactly what it advises to. Overall nice interviewer and good experience, but I didn’t get any response afterwards so idk.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Toyota North America (Columbus, OH) in Jan 2018
Interview
Spoke at a an on campus career fair the day before and was invited for an interview the next day. Interview was about 30 mins. Started with "about me" questions and then moved to 2 STAR behavioral questions. Interview itself was smooth, but I never heard back after multiple follow up emails, despite my peers hearing back the next day (both offers and rejections). Overall disappointed with the lack of a response.
