I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Toyota North America
Interview
When I wanted to get hired (25 years ago), there were many test (mental, physical, aptitude) that took days to complete. They were handled by state government job service, and also independent testing agencies. Now, you must go through temporary agencies, work for 3+ years or more, and hope you will get hired to a permanent position. If you get lucky enough to get one of those, be prepared to be stuck on 2nd shift the rest of your life because they use a seniority system for that, and also vacation planning within your department.
