I applied online. I interviewed at TransPerfect (London, England) in Oct 2016
Interview
Two face-to-face interviews, variety of questions asked with two interviewers (one general, one from the prospective team). I didn't take up this role as I didn't like the idea of meeting monetary goals in relation to translation. I didn't feel I could be proud of translations produced on a low budget and with such a quick turnaround.

Question 1
If you could organise a team event, what would you organise?
very long, 5+interviews, and then they don't get back to you soon enough. HR tells you what you want to hear then they don't follow through on the benefits mentioned.
Very lenghty process with several follow ups with no response. Turnover is I understand very high. Could be a good stepping stone as a junior but that is all. Team seem alright.
I did lots of interviews, got great feedback on each one. After the final one I was ghosted for weeks without a response. I reached out and they eventually replied and lowballed me with an insulting offer, much lower than normal for the role. I will never apply to work for them again. I think they were holding out to get someone cheaper.

Question 1
There was a lot of textbook scenario questions, how would you handle this situtation etc.
