I received a call from the internal hiring manager and after answering some basic questions I was invited in for an interview with someone on the team I was applying for.
They were very understanding that I was working elsewhere at the time and they were flexible with dates. Upon arriving the interviewer was unable to make it into the office due to car trouble. As a last minute change we did the interview by video chat from one of the meeting rooms. We spoke for well over an hour and I was given positive feedback. The third and final stage was to come in and give a presentation to the office.
There were no directions for the presentation and just to speak about something I'm passionate about. Even though quite a few people watched the presentation they made a point to not be intimidating. I ended up meeting half the office and thought overall this was the best part of the process as I had the opportunity to see the sort of people I would be working with.
The whole process was about 2 weeks.
