I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at U.S. Bank
Interview
Not kind, many many interviews. HR berated me with many phone calls at times I said I wasn't available. The position's boss's boss was horrifically rude. The questions weren't difficult just hard to get time available to set up all the interviews with the HR recruiter constantly calling. Extremely frustrating process. Eventually, I got sick of it and informed them I was no longer interested.

Question 1
mostly behavioral and get to know you questions. I challenge / case study question.
Long, drawn out, no communication from HR or the hiring manager on status or feedback following panel interview. It ended up being awkward with people I deal with on a daily basis.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Feb 2026
Interview
Formalized process, not too many rounds, recruiter was prompt in responding to me. Pretty standard, recruiter call, HM call, team interviews, and then possible offer. No crazy take home assignments or excessive interview rounds.

They asked about my experience and relevant hypothetical questions.
I interviewed with them 8 years ago. I recommend them as an employer, however they are going through a lot of changes right now and I am not sure how it will impact their future.
