Had an initial conversation with the recruiter, followed by a call with the hiring manager. That went well. Then, I had interviews with a couple of engineers (one reported to the other), a product manager, and a panel interview with 3 Sr Product Managers.
Then, I had an interview with the Head of Technology for the particular team this role would be supporting. He asked me to write a full PRD for a fictional product that would be a data pipeline. Had nothing to do with AI. I got the sense that none of the technical staff know anything about AI, and only know databases and back-end development. This AI-related questions sounded like they searched for it on the internet and asked me the question.
The hiring manager then had a wrap-up interview.
Then, no response back from him. No feedback on the PRD they made me write (for free).
Recruiter didn't even have the professional courtesy to let me know I wasn't being considered any more. I found out by logging into their recruiting portal. Highly unprofessional. I would strongly NOT recommend.
