1 interview done over the phone w/ manager. 2 with team leader. 3 with director. Waited 3 weeks to hear from H.R. for references verification. Need 5 references (3 as managers). That was done via survey but was told that H.R still called some of my references not even to talk about me but about how they felt about the survey. After that they flew me in for a team interview and director interview, then a live scan. Very long process.

This was a series of four interviews beginning with the hiring manager, then the project team, a standardized soft-skills test and the department's vice president. The interviewing process was very straightforward and I felt very comfortable with the conversations I had, even at the VP level. My best advice for interviews with UCLA Health IT is to be yourself and respond with genuine answers. They seem to value that quite a bit. Another thing: BE PATIENT!!! This is a large company and the interviewing process will take months.
