I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UPMC (Erie, PA) in Sep 2013
Interview
I applied and introduced myself to the supervisor via phone, only to be asked to interview within the next week. The manager told me to dress casually or in my work uniform. I interviewed and found out over a month later that I had been offered the job. It was a long process for an internal transfer.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a difficult encounter with a coworker?
Friendly! The interviewers strive to make the experience comfortable while obtaining relevant information and explaining the job requirements. They want to make sure the company is a good fit for you and that you are a good fit for the area you will work in.
It was a standard interview with all the expected questions as well as a few fun curveballs that were not taken too seriously. I was given the option to shadow and tour the unit afterward.
