I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Tulare, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Very basic and simple process that communicates over email. Take the test required and they will be interested based on your score. Once you take your drug test you get an interview. Interview is a piece of cake. They try to scare you off to see if hard work is for you. Once the the interview is over they select everyone who stays unless they can't count to potato. Job offer is emailed to you and training is emailed to you afterwards. Don't underestimate the job because it is more than just putting mail into a box. Sorting is what will make you have long days at first. This is why they try scaring people off at the interview because they don't want someone who is just going to quit after being overwhelmed.
No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

Question 1
No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

Interview
There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
