      Program/Project Manager Interview

      Dec 5, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      San Antonio, Valparaíso
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, Valparaíso) in Oct 2019

      Interview

Two phone interviews; one screening interview with HR and one with a hiring manager. The third interview was in San Antonio where they flew me out the night before, reserved a hotel and my interview was the next morning. During the 3rd interview I interviewed with 3 different managers for about 45 mins each. I received the follow up call approx 2 days later. The background check consisted of a drug test and verification of all information you provide. It is a very thorough check so I wouldn't embellish on ANYTHING! It's also helpful to have any certifications, transcripts or degrees on hand to help the process along. I live in a different state from the schools I graduated from and thankfully I had my records on hand. Also if a previous employer is out of business you will need to provide tax returns to prove you were employed with said company. That process can be anywhere from 2 weeks to one month depending on how difficult it is for the 3rd party conducting the background check to obtain the information needed. Mine was 2 weeks.
