      Director Risk Analytics Interview

      Nov 7, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at USAA in Oct 2022

      Interview

Friendly Phone Screen, followed by three 1 hour virtual Webex interviews. interviews were scheduled by a coordinator with no input from me on availability. Two of the interviews were with individuals, and one was supposed to be a panel with two participants.. This is my second interview with USAA and there is a theme of using boiler plate interview questions. One hiring manager referred to them as "cheesy", One of the people from the panel hour didn't show due to a conflict. A week later I received an email from the recruiter with the following text. Due to the volume of applications that we receive and our efforts to provide a consistent experience for all candidates, we are not able to provide individualized feedback. Given the level of position and the fact that I spend a fair amount of time preparing and interviewing, this was disappointing and in my mind somewhat an unprofessional conclusion to the process.
