I'm astonished by the lack of professionalism by USAA in this process. A month and a half after I applied I received an email to schedule the phone screen with a virtual assistant. I scheduled it for the following day. I called the number provided in the confirmation and no one showed up. I emailed the recruiter who was cc'ed on the confirmation email and he got back to me later that day saying he was having tech issues. Understood, but let me know prior to the interview. After I had the phone screen a few days later they scheduled the interview with the hiring team. At the last minute they needed to reschedule. When I had the interview the questions were ok, but of the 4 people there only one person spoke. He told me they were looking to get someone in ASAP and would let me know either way within a day or two. After a week I followed up with the recruiter and received nothing. I followed up again after another few days and again nothing. So I assume they didn't want to move forward with me which is fine. I would just like to know. As of now, two months after that interview my application is still pending. Seems like I dodged a bullet because they're unorganized and unprofessional with their lack of communication.
