IT Programmer - New Grad Interview

      Mar 28, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at USAA in Nov 2010

      Interview

USAA is an expanding company and they tend to hire many graduates out of the colleges around San Antonio. I had come into contact with the organization through a mutual friend as well as through career fairs. I'd heard nothing but good things about working for them so I applied for a full-time position right off the bat. The process (for me at least) consisted of a presentation and an interview. It was all very casual and the reps from the company were very upbeat. In the actual interview, I wasn't asked any technical questions and only had to deal with a single brain teaser. Seems a bit lax if you asked me. My only complaint is that they are not punctual with responding to requests for information. Sometimes a week or more would go by before I got a response from them.
