I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uber (London, England) in Jun 2015
Interview
Initial phone call with a recruiter. He sent over an analytics test that was timed for 2 hours. It was sent over as 2 csv files, and was pretty simple if you have ever done data analysis. After that was complete, I received a phone call back from the same recruiter to schedule a follow up with two Operations Managers. I talked with both of them individually. They asked similar questions and it was pretty easy going.

Question 1
they will deep dive into your experiences, also how frequent you use those data tools
Five to seven rounds of interviews, tests and presentations just to get a “no, thank you” at the end without much of a feedback. Acceptable for regular recruitment but not after weeks dedicated to the process.
Pretty easy at early stages - just need to know about supply and demand basics. Analytics test is harder, but manageable if you know Excel well. They are definitely interested in your problem solving abilities and ability to "get things done" with minimal supervision.
