I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uber in Jan 2018
Interview
I applied online. Got an interview on the phone a week later. Interviewed on the phone with one of the counsels at Uber. She sounded like she was too busy to be interviewing me and had very few follow ups. Job surprisingly requires a lot of travel - like once a week to San Francisco. Asked me if I had any questions but was very short/vague on answers. For example, I asked if they were split into teams or worked independently and her answer was simply "teams." Asked about compensation and sh would only say "it's competitive." With what? "It's competitive."
Then sent the written coverage analysis writing test to be completed within 24 hours - while I was in the middle of trial prep for my actual job.
The interview process was lengthy, containing five rounds and one essay question. the essay also had five questions.
The difficulty level increases each round.
Most of them were super friendly.
I interviewed at Uber (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Apr 2021
Interview
Efficient and straight-forward process. The interview was interesting with questions regarding my experience and the reason for leaving the current job position. On the other hand, it was well explained the position responsabilities and the internal organization of the company.
