I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uline (Buford, GA) in Jul 2012
Interview
The position I applied for was Inside Sales Manager but this position not available from drop down list. I received a call/email within 2 days of application inviting me to interview. I was advised I would first take some assessments in small groups then would meet with the hiring manager. My experience seemed to be very similar to other reviews. The pre-assessments and application received online consumed the most time.
I arrived at interview and took the 2 Hay speed tests and then a HR advised we were just having an initial interview including about 5 or 6 standard Qs including strengths, weaknesses and why ULine. Whole process lasted about an hour but did not meet with hiring Manager as indicated. I received a complimentary email a couple of days later advising they are considering candidates closer to their needs.

Interview
I interviewed for a management-in-training position. I was not told during the interview that I would be attending a job fair. The test they have you take is relatively easy, but seem pointless.

Question 1
Why Uline? What experience do you have specific to the position?
It was the weirdest interview process ever, felt very cult like. Started as a group thing and then went to a giant room one on one with someone. They seemed like the kind of company to truly think of people as numbers instead of human beings.
Brought into a room to do tests then if they like you you’ll do another interview with a few more tests. Very nice and pleasent though. Facilities are nice and welcoming and the staff was very friendly
