I got an Invite for attending Interview Process on Saturday, There were around 100 people from different domains like Java, Linux, .net , networking for interview.
I was given 11:00 am time, reached positively at scheduled time.
There were two rounds : Technical and Managerial
I have to wait for around 2 hours for First round, Technical round was pretty easy, Questions were on Linux Operating System and VMware, interviewer was impressed and passed me for next round.
Next, i waited for another 2 hours for Managerial round that lasted for around 15 minutes, He asked me several non tech questions like strengths, what motivate you, what you don't like, where you see after 5 years and other scenarios etc, it went well, interview was again impressed, wrote his final remarks on a file and Finally asked to me to wait outside for 10-15 minutes.
The co-ordinating staff checked the File and looked for remark mentioned by Managerial round and told me, You are selected and asked me to leave for the day and HR will get back to you for further process over email or Phone.
I had a glimpse of my Final remarks in the File that co-coordinating staff from recruitment team was holding and it mentioned "Strongly recommended"
Well, i left from UHG office happily on a positive note that soon HR will call for further processing but it has been 20 days they have not called or emailed me anything yet.
When i checked with the concerned TAG - interview invite sender, she told me you can cleared all the rounds, Haven't you got any response from recruiter yet ? i said no and she said , i will get back to you.
Have not got any response yet, Optum UHG for sure don't have transparency in the process, there is no way to track you application, there is no co-ordination b.w recruitment teams and they wasted my time.
Better, not to waste time visiting Invite based Optum, UHG interviews particularly on Saturdays.
Only thing i found positive or good about Optum, UHG Gurgaon interview process were those Free sandwiches in the breakout area, i had two of them after my First round. Thanks for that.
