I received a call from a recruiter, Michael, who set up an interview for the following day. After the fall, he sent me an email which included pay information for the position ($9/hr). The pay was too low so I called the recruiter back within the hour to cancel the interview. Two months later I receive an email from their recruiting team stating that I was no longer eligible for any employment opportunities with the company. I contacted the recruiter, Michael, that I had spoken to 2 months prior and he told me that since I had missed the interview at that time that I wasn't eligible for other positions. I reminded him that I didn't "miss" the interview; I had called him back specifically to cancel the interview. It seems to me that the recruiter failed to update things on his end so I got the "blame" for it. I have no further interest in working for the company.
