I had an quick initial phone interview - the corporate recruiter found my resume online and wanted to find out my interest & availability. After that I was asked to come in and interview with the corporate recruiter and the director of the area. The director showed interest and asked for my references. They called my references over the week and then called me back to come in and meet with two managers in the area. After my interviews with them, I was offered the position. I had to complete a background check and drug screen.
The dress is higher than average...normal dress is shirt and tie (keeping a coat handy), so don't be surprised if you the people who interview you are in full suits. My interviews were conducted in a commons area with large windows - it was a nice view.
I would recommend bringing a printed copy of your references...just in case. My first in-person interview was when I was asked for my references. It made a good impression to have them on hand and professional looking.
