I was called into interview, and before I showed up we discussed my salary expectations. I asked that, if their pay scale was below my minimum, they not schedule an interview. They schedule one anyway, and it actually went all right. The same day they contacted me and made an offer significantly lower than what we had discussed in person. I declined, so the following day they made one at my absolute bare minimum. They assured me that they would email me the employment contract the following day, as well as onboarding paperwork. Nearly a week and a half later, I hadn't heard anything back, and they told me they rescinded the offer because they couldn't afford someone of my skill level, and would rather have only the cheapest and crappiest of employees. Don't apply here if you have any level of self respect.
