Interview
In terms of ski resort jobs, Vail makes the application process very convenient. My interview was less than a week after completing my application and held over Skype. Efficient and straightforward.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly generic "name a time you ..." or "how would you ..." questions. Big emphasis on enhancing guest experiences. Bonus points if you can throw the phrase "experience of a lifetime" in there.
Simple online application, 20' interview on zoom with simple questions about how I would react to situations. Nice interviewer, friendly, asked about my background and why I wanted to apply to the role.
Phone interview. I was asked about previous experience, hw I treated guests, and if I was able to work in varying and fairly demanding conditions and hours. I was asked how I spent idle time on the job and if I required provided housing or could do without.

The interview process was easy and quick. I enjoyed speaking with the HR person about my background and what i was looking for. They were very open about challenges of Covid.
