Multiple interviews with teams and individuals. Job never materialized. This happens a lot at Vanderbilt.
You spend a lot of time and energy preparing, following up and waiting for the next step. It’s a process and a waste of time for 99% of candidates. The hiring process has momentum and then the job is put on hold or taken off the table.
