I applied online. I interviewed at Vanguard (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2025
Interview
The process was smooth and easy. I applied on 8/14 and received an automated text message asking me to pick a time for a phone interview on 8/15. Phone interview was 8/20 where I spoke with a recruiter and answered about 6 STAR method/ situational/ behavioral questions. By the end of that call I was informed that the recruiter wanted to move me forward to a virtual interview with a hiring manager. I scheduled my virtual interview through an automated system for 8/26. I was asked about 4 situational questions using the star method. Recruiter contacted me 8/29 with the offer.

Had phone interview, went well asked a lot about why I would want to work for Vanguard, and about my past roles in the Financial field. Scheduled for virtual interview.
I had a 30 minute phone interview follow by a video interview a couple weeks later. The entire process was very easy. Be prepared to talk about your experiences and make sure to have your sie before the interview.
Easy, STAR questions. Phone interview followed by zoom, Make sure to practice STAR Scenarios. Case Study questions. Both interviewers were kind. Felt more like a conversation. Very great experience overall.
