Vanguard Interview Questions

Applied via a recruiter. The interview process consisted of two video call interviews. The first one was some CV questions with some technical questions thrown in. The second one was entirely technical questions.

I was interviewed by 2 people of color which is rare. I was asked how I would prepare for a test. Because you are going to have to get several license.

A 2 interview process using the STAR system for examples. The first interview was on the phone the 2nd was a Teams meeting. I had received a descriptive email of what they were looking for me to demonstrate for each interview. Very professional and yet warm!

The whole process was really organized. They are also really efficient at making a decision (2 - 3 days). The recruiters and HR representatives I worked with are all extremely professional and helpful in getting me prepared. Overall, after interviewing for a variety of big tech and other large companies, I'd say Vanguard had the best interview process.

Had an intro call with a recruiter (multiple months after filling out the application), then participated in an (virtual) onsite interview. My interviewers seemed great, but then the company just ghosted me. Never heard back, even after contacting my recruiter.

The hiring process included a four-stage interview, an online coding round, and three further rounds with HR, developers, and a senior manager. However, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism displayed by the hiring team, as they failed to provide any feedback. After investing a lot of time and effort into the interview process, it was frustrating and unfair to be left without any communication. I would advise against dedicating significant time to preparing for a similar process, given the lack of respect shown toward candidates.

Two separate interviews, both fairly approachable experiences. Internal interviews can be more challenging depending on the role you're going for. After accepting the offer I've kept in touch with both my interviewers. Vanguard encourages networking, which I appreciate.

I had a phone screen before the actual phone interview. The longer phone interview entailed questions related to preparing for exams, how you organize work and how you can handle different situations with a manager.

Long, all day type of interview. It start at 9 to come up with a plan to develop a design for a retirement application. Review design at 10. Follow up interview at 11. I remember also ending the day with a group interview.

I was given some tough questions that I stumbled on resulting in me not getting an offer. Interview was ok other than that. How you answer every question matters a lot.
