I applied online. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Baltimore, MD) in Nov 2022
Interview
There are 3 questions related to teaching in a prerecorded format. We have to record our answers in video format with at max 2 attempts. At last, you have to teach one topic of your choice.

Question 1
1. How your background and skills will help in this role? 2. Which subjects have you taught earlier? Do you hold any prior experience? How did you learn those subjects? 3. Which age group are you comfortable teaching? How do you modify the approach for diff age groups? 4. Teach your favorite topic.
There was not one only exams that had to be passed to teach certain subjects. It is an AI test so it is set up like an interview. I really liked this process.

Question 1
If I fully understood the material I was teaching.
You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.

Interview
AI Interview, very easy. Asked very basic question's regarding experience, motivation, etc. I’m a freshman student in UMD and so I haven’t been to many job interviews, but this was genuinely easy.
